The DNC claimed they were hacked by the Russians. Yet  the DHS  was not allowed to inspect their computers.

The FBI’s offer to help was also rejected. Trey Gowdy  demanded answers from Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson before the House Intelligence Committee. Gowdy asked Johnson why the DHS was not allowed to investigate the alleged Russian “hacks.”

Good question. The DNC’s  claim that they were hacked by Russians would have signaled a major national security crisis. Yet both of our nation’s preeminent intelligence agencies  were not allowed access to the DNC computers to investigate the breach.

Here’s another question. Why didn’t the 2 most powerful intel and security agencies insist  on investigating a supposed cyber attack from a foreign entity trying to interfere in the process of a United States  Presidential election?

Instead, the agencies  meekly backed off per DNC marching orders.

In addition, they allowed the DNC to hire a third party security company, “Crowdstrike” to investigate and file a report.  (More on them soon)

Republican Peter King pressed the DHS secretary

King made a valid point. He said that there was no logical reason for the DNC to refuse help. The DNC knew that the DHS in no way represented the Republican Party.  On the contrary, they were  part of the Obama Administration.

Johnson replied,  “I was not pleased that we were not in there helping them patch this vulnerability.”

He was also not pleased that the DHS didn’t learn of the alleged attacks until several  months after COMEY’S FBI learned of them.

The Daily Caller reported,

“Johnson said that he first became aware of intrusions into DNC systems sometime last year, several months after the FBI had learned of the breach.” …

“I was anxious to know whether our folks were in there. The response I got was FBI had spoken to them, they don’t want our help, they have CrowdStrike,” Johnson testified, referring to the cybersecurity firm that investigated the Russian hacks on behalf of the DNC.”

The DNC didn’t want the FBI’s help either

The Daily Caller reported,

“The Democratic National Committee “rebuffed” a request from the FBI to examine its computer services after it was allegedly hacked by Russia during the 2016 election

“The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated,” a senior law enforcement official told CNN. “This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information. These actions caused significant delays and inhibited the FBI from addressing the intrusion earlier.”

Trey Gowdy nailed him with this question.

Gowdy: “Why would the victim of a crime not turn over a server?”

Johnson: “I’m not going to argue with you, sir,.”

Gowdy also took issue with the DHS not having done more to prevent the attack in the first place.

The Daily Caller reports,

“House Oversight Chairman Trey Gowdy is wondering why Ex-DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson didn’t do more to address Russian election interference, given Johnson knew it was a problem before the 2016 election.

…Gowdy didn’t let him off the hook for failing to prevent massive election interference.

“[Russia is] a career offender when it comes to attacking the foundations of our Republic,” Gowdy asserted. “They have a history of cyber attacks on our country. You warned before the elections that they may attack our voting infrastructure. After the election President Obama took steps to target Russia.”

Convenient Amnesia

The seditious Never-Trumpers count on the public’s amnesia.

  • Vault 7-blew the lid off any “conclusions” the remaining intelligence agency may come to. Vault 7 revealed that the CIA has access to capabilities that allow cyber fingerprints to be disguised. They can make hacks appear to originate from any foreign country. Even China or Russia.
  • Obama’s DHS tried to penetrate the State of  Georgia’s firewall.
  • John Podesta’s computer was not hacked. His email account was hacked due to a phishing scam.
  • Ultimately  the DNC left itself wide open for an attack. The ‘Russians,” or whoever, tried to hack the RNC but could not get past their security.
  • The DHS knew before the election that Russian hacking was a problem.
  • Voting machines were not hacked. Johnson even  stated that “Russia did not alter ballots.” Which we all knew anyway.
  • Obama tried to interfere in Israel’s election.
  • The DNC absolutely, without question, interfered with the 2016 election.
  • It’s likely that Obama, Loretta Lynch and Comey orchestrated efforts to interfere with the 2016 election.
  • The Dems and RINOs are still  trying to interfere with the 2016 election.

Although Jeh Johnson accuses Putin directly of directing the hacking to influence the election, Putin had more to gain by Hillary being in office. If she “won,” her crimes would be buried, There would be no need for the Russian hoax. Then she could go about her business as usual-selling our country out to the highest bidder. Maybe she’d interest him in some more of our rare resource-uranium.

See: “The Dirty Truth About Coal, Obama, Hillary and…Russia.”

BTW-Where was Obama in all this?

Would this breach of national security from a foreign entity not have been brought up in the daily intel briefing? Would he not insist that the investigation be carried out by our national intelligence/security  agencies?

The hacking occurred in the summer of 16. But the Obama administration didn’t formally accuse the Russian government of hacking into emails from the DNC and others until Oct. 7.

As we recall, however, the timing was convenient. As all of the dirty secrets from the DNC, Hillary, John Podesta and the President himself spilled out through Wikileaks, the damage control tactic employed was to focus on how  the information got out there (Russia!) rather than what the emails contained.

The New York Times relayed Johnson’s official narrative,

“The Obama administration feared that acknowledging Russian meddling in the 2016 election would reveal too much about intelligence gathering and be interpreted as “taking sides” in the race, the former secretary of homeland security said Wednesday.

“One of the candidates, as you recall, was predicting that the election was going to be ‘rigged’ in some way,” said Jeh Johnson, the former secretary, referring to President Trump’s unsubstantiated accusation before Election Day. “We were concerned that by making the statement we might, in and of itself, be challenging the integrity of the election process itself.”

Does Jeh Johnson honestly believe that?

Thing is, we already knew by October 7th that the integrity of the election process was challenged because Debbie Wasserman-Schultz had to step down after being busted for rigging the process to oust Bernie Sanders.

Maybe Johnson needs to keep up with the news. Th rest of us have learned that it’s quite likely that Loretta Lynch-the head of Obama’s DOJ- attempted to squash Hillary’s FBI investigation to allow her to win. Talk about “taking sides.”

Another thing-we also now know that Obama spied illegally on political opponents, including the Trump campaign. There’s little need to wonder if  he’d spy on Hillary’s opponent for the Presidential race and not share the juicy info with her.

But yeah. The Obama Administration didn’t want to  take sides or corrupt the election process.

Some Q’s…

  • If the FBI knew of the ALLEGED cyber attacks, why didn’t Comey inform the DHS?
  • If  DHS Sec Johnson”was not pleased” that they weren’t in there to “patch” the vulnerability, why didn’t he put some pressure on? Does he also wish he were stronger?
  • Why didn’t Obama and his FBI and DHS insist on protecting our country?
Another Q-Isn’t this a deal breaker?

Once the DNC refused to allow law enforcement to inspect their servers, that should have been reason enough to end the Russian/Trump hoax.

President Trump has a good question as well.

This morning he tweeted, “By the way, if Russia was working so hard on the 2016 election, it all took place during the Obama Admin. Why didn’t they stop them?

LOL. Such a great point. The Light is shining on the swampmonsters!
