In-N-Out is officially a Real Great American company!
Although many people didn’t post their votes here and only on their Facebook groups 🙁 everyone gave a big thumbs up to In-N-Out.
Looks like a lot of Democrats did too. They’ve been voting with their wallet. The “Liberal” boycott on In-N-Out is failing miserably. Democrats want their favorite burger and most of them think the boycott is pretty “silly.”
A counter-boycott had the company reporting record profits as Conservatives lined up to chow down on the famous burgers and fries.
“Liberals” jumped the gun when they called for a boycott of In-N-Out when they discovered that the burger chain donated to the GOP. Had they done any further research they’d have found out that they also donated to the DNC.
In-N-Out was just hedging their bets, as many companies and organizations do. One voter, RegalEagle, liked the idea that the chain donated to both sides. “I say yes they are a great American company because they are fair. This one-sided crap is becoming too much.”
So if they’re making friends on both sides of the aisle, what else makes In-N-Out a Real Great American company?
*Personifies the American Dream-the family owned business was founded by newlyweds Harry and Esther Snyder. It’s now worth over $600 Million. They’re keeping it in the family and off Wall Street.
*Over the course of 70 years, In-N-Out has become a pop culture icon. It’s All American, all the way. The menu is simple and classic, offering hamburgers, fries and shakes. It’s one of America’s first drive-through restaurants.
*Open kitchens offer confidence in preparation standards and cleanliness.
* The food is ultra fresh, with distribution centers nearby. Fries are sliced on the spot-not frozen.
* It’s a tourist destination. Aside from locals, tourists are told they must visit an In-N-Out when they visit California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, and Oregon.
*In-N-Out employs about 16,000 people and pays employees above average wages. They made Forbes “best employer for women” list. The numbers of those employed adds to the local economy. Maybe that’s why the staff is so friendly?
*They add to the American community in other ways. They offer youth awards programs and student fundraisers. They don’t stop there. They have their own foundations. The “IN-N-Out Burger Foundation” is dedicated to helping abused and neglected children. Their “Slave2Nothing” Foundation opens “paths to freedom for those who are enslaved to any person or substance.”
Just a wild guess here, but...
It’s likely that at the end of the day, In-N-Out probably leans towards the Conservative side of the aisle. Their cups and wrappers contain cryptic references to Christian Bible verses. In addition, they’re doing what they can to fight (rather than enable) sex trafficking and child sex trafficking through their own foundation. They also donate to other organizations dedicated to that cause.
What do you order at In-N-Out? What else do you think qualifies them as a Real Great American company?
